Salman Khan fans across the country have been worried for the star ever since the firing incident that took place outside his Bandra residence on April 14, 2024. The investigation into the firing case is underway in Mumbai. Within days of the firing, the two accused – Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, were arrested in Gujarat’s Bhuj. In a recent development, it has been learned that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has interrogated the two shooters.

A tweet from news agency ANI confirming the same read, “NIA has interrogated shooters Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, arrested in the firing case.” This comes after the Mumbai Crime Branch has revealed that the two men, Sonu Subhash Chander and Anuj Thapan, supplied guns to the shooters. They were reportedly also in touch with the Bishnoi gang.

A few days back, the shooters had revealed that they were ordered to fire 10 rounds of bullets and threw the gun in Tapi River, Surat. The report read, “Mumbai Crime Branch has recovered a gun and some live cartridges used in the firing outside Salman Khan’s house from Tapi River in Surat.” Regarding the second weapon, the portal stated, “The search for another gun is underway.”

While the investigation is underway, Salman’s security has been beefed up and he is continuing his professional commitments. He was recently seen at the Mumbai airport jetting off to attend an event in Dubai. The actor was also present at the recent star-studded premiere of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s OTT series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar in Mumbai. Last night, April 25, the actor graced the special screening of the film Ruslaan, which stars his brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma.

On the work front, Salman will soon star in the AR Murugadoss starrer Sikandar. The film is currently scheduled to release on Eid 2025.
